How We Got Here
Vacay Village of Taylorsville continues a long tradition of providing a convenient place to stay near Taylorsville Lake. Today, under new management, the property offers updated accommodations, expanded amenities, and RV and boat storage while continuing to serve travelers, campers, boaters, and outdoor enthusiasts visiting Central Kentucky.

Vacay Village of Taylorsville is located on Hunter Road, directly across from Taylorsville Lake and just 1.5 miles from Taylorsville Lake Marina. Our central location also provides convenient access to Taylorsville Lake State Park, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, Louisville, Lexington, and other popular destinations throughout the region.

Meet Laura, Park Manager and Host
Hi, I'm Laura, the campground manager, proud wife and mother of two wonderful daughters. We live right here on-site, where every day brings something new and the outdoors is part of our everyday life. I’m a proud Kentucky native and have been a part of the Taylorsville community for the last 4 years. When I'm not helping campers or keeping the campground running smoothly, you'll usually find me spending time with my girls, enjoying live music or hanging out with our dogs. I enjoy creating a welcoming place where families can relax, make memories, and enjoy nature. For me, the campground isn't just where I work—it's home.
